In 2021, philanthropist MacKenzie Scott announced a $40 million unrestricted gift to Cal Poly Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, accelerating the legacy of philanthropy that defines our history as a university. In response to this unprecedented opportunity, we created the Bright Tomorrow Fund to steward the funds with responsibility, transparency, and clarity, and to maximize their transformational impact.
